Saint Andrews State Park
The Florida Peninsula boasts some of the most beautiful Florida beaches and St. Andrews State Park, located off State Road 392 about three miles east of Panama City Beach, is no exception. While the white, soft sand draws sunbathers, the emerald waters beckon swimmers, snorkelers, and scuba divers. Visitors can also enjoy camping, boating, fishing, hiking, picnicking, bird watching, and more. During Spring and Summer months, a ferry operates from the marina taking visitors over to nearby Shell Island. Two piers offer opportunities for fishing and gazing down where you might spot a Devil Ray or two skimming through the clear gulf waters. Before you leave, don’t miss seeing Gator Lake, a small coastal dune lake, and “The Old Cracker Turpentine Still”, a turpentine mill originally located in Bristol, FL. St. Andrews State Park provides visitors plenty of fun-filled activities and some of what we think is incredibly beautiful scenery.
