Ravine Gardens State Park

This park was developed during the Depression and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Within its 146 acres there are plenty of trails, exercise stations, picnic areas, and natural beauty. Several small springs located within the ravines form Whitewater Branch, a small stream which flows into the nearby Saint John's River. It’s a great place to take a break from life’s hustle and bustle.

The very best time to visit is during Azalea season, usually the end of February and into March. The Azalea Days festival takes place every March. Since we visited during the season and the off-season, our photos are a mixture of both. We think the gardens are beautiful any time of year.
