Horseshoe Beach

Located on a point of land extending out into the Gulf of Mexico, Horseshoe Beach is a quaint coastal town popular with boaters & weekenders alike. One can cast their line over at the point, take a boat or kayak and explore the nearby islands, or go deep sea fishing in the gulf. Once a lumber town, Horseshoe Beach is now home to commercial fishing and shrimping operations. Trawlers are a familiar sight coming and going from the marina and into the Gulf of Mexico. For the amateur anglers, blue crab, scallops, and many varieties of fish can be caught here like grouper, redfish, sand trout, sheepshead, Spanish mackerel, & speckled trout.

From Cross City, follow CR351 south for about 19 miles to reach the town. The town has a public boat ramp which allows access to the Gulf of Mexico.
