Steinhatchee

Steinhatchee is a small town located on the Gulf of Mexico at the mouth of the Steinhatchee River, making it a popular destination for boaters and anglers. The town is also home to the annual Fiddler Crab Festival, first held in 2008. From the public boat dock, visitors can enjoy views of the picturesque coastal town. There are also a few restaurants where one can sample the local cuisine.

Steinhatchee is located about 19 miles north of Cross City. We took US 19/98 to Highway 358 then 361.
