Adam's Beach
Adam’s Beach is basically a boat ramp into the Gulf of Mexico, but wildlife enthusiasts can find shore birds wading in the nearby grassy marshes. When we visited this quaint little beach, we found a beautiful, quiet view of the Gulf and surrounding marshlands. Adam’s Beach is located at the point where Florida’s big bend starts, curving west to form the panhandle. Because the Big Bend is comprised of mostly rivers and swampland, Adam’s Beach is the last public beach on the Gulf of Mexico until Shell Point in the panhandle.
From Steinhatchee, follow CR 361 north for 23 miles then turn left on Adam's Beach Road. From Perry, head south on US 19/98 for about 4 miles then make a right to follow CR 361 for about 12 miles then merge onto Adam's Beach Road.
