Vilano Beach
From St. Augustine follow A1A North to Vilano Beach, about two miles north of St. Augustine between the Atlantic Ocean and the Tolomato River. Vilano Beach has a pavilion, restrooms, and showers. A short walk across the boardwalk takes visitors to the beach. Parking spaces are available on the street side or on the beach.
We visited Vilano Beach mid-day in early November. The ocean was filled with whitecaps and waves were pounding the shore. The temperature was in the seventies. There were a few people enjoying the beautiful day. Summer photos would show many more visitors.
