Sarasota

Sarasota is one of Florida’s gems. With white sandy beaches, unique shopping experiences, glistening blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico, and plenty of sites to see, Sarasota draws many visitors. We enjoy staying in Sarasota. Two of our favorite places to visit are the Ringling Museum and St. Armand’s Circle.

Visitors could spend hours at Ringling Museum. Tour the 56 rooms of the Venetian Gothic Ca’ d’Zan, the mansion of John and Mable Ringling which was finished in 1925. Walk through Mable’s rose garden to the Museum of Art which was built to house John’s extensive collection of masterpieces. And see the exhibits at the Circus Museums for a history of the Ringling’s circus.

Shoppers will enjoy St. Armand’s Circle. Besides their many unique shops, visitors will have a variety of interesting restaurants from which to choose.

The barrier islands of Lido, Longboat, and Siesta provide some of the best white-sand beaches in Florida. Most evenings visitors can view spectacular sunsets while strolling along the shoreline.
