Little Talbot Island State Park

Little Talbot Island State Park is located east of downtown Jacksonville near the point where the Saint John's River empties into the Atlantic Ocean. Two beach areas located on the island serve as the starting point for a network of trails where each provide a different experience for those who enjoy hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking. Whether visitors follow trails or the boardwalks through marshes, dunes, or wooded areas, they will be rewarded with white sand beaches, unique plants, a variety of birds, and more. Besides the usual beach activities, visitors can also enjoy fishing, camping, kayaking, and picnicking.

Little Talbot Island State Park is a beautiful place to spend the day.
