Hillsborough River State Park

Hillsborough River State Park is a nice, well-kept park south of Zephyrhills on U. S. 301. One of Florida’s first parks, it offers some beautiful scenery. On weekends and by reservation, visitors may tour Fort Foster, a replica of an 1837 Fort that was at this Location during the Second Seminole War. Park visitors have many activities from which to choose: hiking, canoeing, bicycling, camping, kayaking, fishing, and swimming in the park’s pool.
