Britton Hill

Florida’s highest point is located at Britton Hill in the panhandle, about two miles south of the Alabama line. Britton Hill is 345 ft. above sea level. Lakewood Park surrounds the monument marking the highest point.

(Okay, so there are taller buildings. It’s Florida, afterall.)

Besides a nice picnic area, there is a nice panoramic view waiting for travelers who take a break from the busy interstate. From I-10 turn north onto Highway 331 just west of De Funiak Springs.
