Navarre Beach

Located across Santa Rosa Sound from the town of Navarre is Navarre Beach. Here, we visited the beach and Navarre Beach Pier, the longest pier on Florida’s Gulf Coast. The pier is a great fishing spot and offers beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico and the beach. A bait and tackle shop is located at the entrance to the pier where visitors pay a small admission fee. Adjacent to the shop is a small restaurant which was closed at the time of our visit. Along the beach, there are several picnic pavilions as well as a trail for bikers and hikers.
